Who is eligible to participate in the GM Supplier Discount Program?

Active hourly and salaried (full- and part-time) employees of eligible GM suppliers and business associates (e.g., fleet and commercial customers), not including contract employees. Please note: To qualify for this program, you must be a resident of the United States. To determine if your company is eligible, please contact your HR department.
Which GM vehicles are eligible??

Almost every new and unused Current Model Year GM passenger car, SUV, crossover, van and light-duty truck is eligible. To see a list of excluded vehicles, go to the “Get Answers” tab on the home page and select What Vehicles Are Eligible. Some other models may have limited availability. Eligibility of GM vehicles may change at any time without notice.

What is the vehicle discount??

As an eligible GM supplier employee, you can get Preferred Pricing, a special discounted price that's below the MSRP, when you purchase vehicles through the GM Supplier Discount Program.

How many vehicles am I eligible to purchase/lease?

You may purchase/lease up to two eligible new and unused vehicles per calendar year.

Can I receive this discount from any GM Dealer??

This program is available through all participating U.S. GM Dealers and is voluntary on the part of the dealers. Dealer participation is on a vehicle line basis. Please inform your dealer of your intention to use the GM Supplier Discount during your first contact with your dealer. If your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another GM Dealer.

How do I get the GM Supplier Discount??

It's simpler than ever. Obtain your Company Code and visit the home page to request your personal Authorization Number. After logging in, select "GM Supplier Discount" from the left navigation bar, then choose "Obtain Authorization" and follow the prompts. Print out your personal Authorization Number and bring it to a participating GM Dealer to receive your vehicle discount.

Can I combine this discount with current incentives??

In most cases. Visit dealer for details on eligible incentives, or see current incentives on this site to see how the values add up.

Can I order a vehicle through this program, rather than choosing one from my GM Dealer's inventory?

Yes, you can receive the discount when you order through a participating GM Dealer.

How do I get the GM Extended Family Card??

Simply go to www.gmcard.com/efc/about-the-card and click on "Apply Now." While you're there, check out GM's great lineup of vehicles and pick the one you'll be earning toward.

What's the difference between the GM Extended Family Card and the GM Flexible Earnings Card??

The GM Extended Family Card was created for members of the GM family who are eligible for the GM Supplier Vehicle Purchase Program discount. It offers a full 1% Earnings on all credit card purchases, which can be combined with your GM discount for even greater savings. GM Extended Family Card Earnings can be redeemed toward any eligible vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac. With the GM Extended Family Card, you also have the option to receive your Earnings as cash, in increments of $50, if you decide you are not in the market for a new vehicle. With the GM Flexible Earnings Card, you get 3% Earnings toward an eligible, new GM vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac. Or you can opt to receive 1% Earnings toward any other new vehicle of your choice ($100 minimum) or get 1% cash back in $100 increments. There is no annual limit on how much you can earn but there are Redemption Allowances that vary by vehicle and model year. Visit www.gmcard.com/flex/about-the-card for details. Earnings from the GM Flexible Earnings Card cannot be combined with your GM Supplier Vehicle Purchase Program discount.

Can I combine this discount with any GM reward card Earnings??

You can combine the GM Supplier Discount with Earnings from the GM Extended Family Card or GM Business Card. However, the GM Supplier Discount cannot be combined with the GM Flexible Earnings Card or the GM Card. Earnings from the GM reward cards are in addition to most current incentives GM may offer.

Do I have to purchase or lease through Ally??

No. You can purchase or lease through any financial institution.

Are dealer-installed options covered by this discount (e.g., theft-deterrent devices)??

No. Any additional dealer-installed options, conversion/up fit packages, General Motors Protection Plans and other extra-charge items will be supplied at a price agreed upon between the customer and the dealer.

Are dealer demonstration vehicles included in this program??

Yes, if the vehicle has less than 7,500 miles and a dealer demo allowance has not been paid on the vehicle. See your dealer for details.

Can I use a trade-in with this program??

Please contact dealer for more information about trade-ins.

Does the purchase/lease require a down payment??

Your dealer will be able to provide details on the down payment of your chosen vehicle.

How long do I have to keep the vehicle to qualify for the GM Supplier Discount??

The vehicle must be retained for a minimum of six (6) months from the vehicle delivery date.I recently bought/leased a new GM vehicle.

Can I still apply for the GM Supplier Discount??

No. Previous purchases/leases are not eligible.As an eligible participant, can I title a vehicle in the name of a living trust??
Yes, you can title a vehicle in the name of a living trust as long as the living trust bears the name of the eligible participant.

Can I title a vehicle under my business name??

Yes. The GM Supplier Discount Program now allows eligible participants to title a vehicle in the name of their business.

Are my family members eligible for the vehicle discount??

Yes. Each time you purchase or lease a new GM vehicle under the GM Supplier Discount Program, you can share your supplier discount with one friend or family member. See the "Share Your Discount" section below for more information.

How can I find out more about a specific GM model??

Questions about vehicle features, pricing, model eligibility, leasing and incentives should be directed to a participating GM Dealer. You can also visit gm.com for more information.

I forgot my username. How can I retrieve it??

Click on the "I've forgotten my username" link on the login page and you will be prompted for your name, address, date of birth and phone number. After the system has validated your information, you will be prompted to enter the answer to the secret question you selected during registration. After you provide the correct answer, your username will appear and you will be prompted to enter your password.

I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it??

Click on the "I've forgotten my password" link on the login page and you will be prompted for your username. Once the system has validated a correct username, you will be prompted to enter the answer to the secret question you selected during registration. After you provide the correct answer, you will be prompted to reset your password.
